Daily
stock market direction forecast

What do
daily forecasts offer?
|
|
|
Daily Forecasts for several Stock Exchange
Indices are computed each trading day after the market close. The results are
presented as graphics showing the most probable
pattern of ups and downs for 20 days into the future.
The graphs give the main turning points and slope
signs, i.e. they show the valleys and tops of the
markets for the near future. As forecasts deteriorate with time,
exact values shown for the index should be dismissed, and the
movements described must be considered as the main turning points.

What
daily forecasts do not offer?
|
|
|
These forecasts do not tell
where or how to invest your money. They are also
not intended to forecast next day direction, but
the general pattern for the next 20 trading days
instead. They should be used as a tool to get
knowledge about the future, but with the warning
in mind that economic scenarios change quickly as
news arrive, and the forecaster is not aware of
news. |

What
about performance?
|
|
|
Performance is not guaranteed
but there exist no reason for not maintaining the
same performance shown in the historical graphs.
To get profit of this information is very useful
to check how the predictor behaved in the past,
and how it behaved when confronted with market
crashes. Another useful training is to compare
predictions on different indices as the DJIA and
the S&P500, which usually are highly
correlated, to have a test of internal
consistence. |
